Team
Meet our women-led company. All our bags are marked with the names of the
artisans who crafted them at our studio in Tallinn, Estonia. Meet the artisans and the rest of our team.
Stella Runnel
Designer & workshop tutor, creator of the brand
Stella’s aim has always been to create a workspace where people love to work, where clients and friends enjoy returning again and again, and where money is not made at the expense of the environment. She wants to prove that a leather studio can be run in a sustainable and innovative way.

She’s responsible
and reliable – we can always lean on her. Kadri is systematic and
determined, always finishing everything she starts. Oh, and she reads books. A lot of books. Every day she wakes up at 6 o'clock, reads for two hours and then starts her day.
Henna Hintsanen
Product developer, crafter & workshop tutorHenna, originally from Finland, joined our team through an internship. Her dedication and genuine thirst for knowledge quickly made her an invaluable member of the team. Today, she can be trusted with more complex tasks and is actively involved in product development as well as the production of custom-made orders. Henna is also one of our workshop tutors.
Her background in sales has helped us build stronger connections with our Nordic neighbours and expand our reach across the region. Always eager to experiment and refine her craft across different materials, Henna often inspires us to test new ideas during our team sessions. She has even introduced us all to winter swimming.
Lisandra Türkson
Project & digital marketing manager, workshop tutor
In the studio, no one has seen Lisandra rushing, hurrying, or acting thoughtlessly – she is the epitome of how to act systematically and calmly. Lisandra has an MA in Accessory Design from the Estonian Academy of Arts — and another degree in digital marketing.

Through this,
she has found a niche for herself in empowering otherwise manual and
practical fields. In the studio, her role is to share the studio's
principles, news, and behind-the-scenes glimpses with our friends on
social media and online platforms. She is also in charge of bag subscription service and customer events as well as acting as Stella's right hand woman in all daily matters. From time to time she also leads workshops. When on holiday, she prefers to stay out of the sun and enjoy the crisp beauty of Nordic countries.
Maria Rojko Nisu
Workshop tutor & crafter
Maria holds an MA in Accessory Design from Estonian Academy of Arts. She has built her own leather brand, but she has also experience from working as a designer at a large Czech workwear company.
Maria is a social, motherly figure with high level of energy — the perfect combination to lead leather workshops and keep the atmosphere at the studio lively and happy. Living between the Czech Republic and Estonia, she brings a unique cross-cultural perspective to our work.

Maarja Rõivassepp
Crafter (on parental leave)
When Maarja sets her mind on something, she devotes all her attention and care to it. She’s tackling ever more complicated leather projects at the studio with utmost attention to detail. Her demanding and precise eye casts over all the products we make at the studio.

Maarja also makes sure that all leather scraps are
sorted and reused as quickly as possible which allows us to create a lot
less waste than other leather studios. She also has a degree in
scenography and could design the stage for our future studio band. When
Maarja makes the lunch for all, everyone in the studio can’t wait to see
which classic dishes she’s made this time.
Kolm
Production partner
In addition to our in-house studio team, we occasionally collaborate with a small family-owned manufacturer based in Tartu, Estonia. With their long-standing experience in leather craftsmanship, they provide valuable support when needed. We are in close and continuous communication, and every bag produced there follows the same technical specifications, quality standards, and level of care as those made in our studio.

Our cooperation with Kolm allows us to move more efficiently towards our zero-waste goals and demonstrates that sustainable leather accessory production is also possible within a more traditional manufacturing framework.
