The Escape Artist fits a tablet, a notebook, a water bottle, and other worthy sustenance. The top zipper closes the hatch while two inside pockets (one with a zipper) keep your belongings in order. Comes with two handles for a playful swing, and an adjustable shoulder strap for when your hands are like, nah.

Returned items must be unused, in original packaging, and in the same condition as received. Once we get the return, we’ll refund the product price within 14 days. Shipping costs are not refundable.

Our items are crafted in our studio in Tallinn, in Telliskivi Creative City and all bags are marked with the names of the artisans who made it. Once you receive the bag, look inside it to discover who has made it.

Our products combine functionality with minimalist design, created through a circular system we call Round 2. We use high-quality materials in a way that makes details easy to repair or replace over time. Each design is crafted to reduce cutting leftovers. Larger leather offcuts become smaller accessories, while the tiny bits and pieces find a new purpose in our workshops.
Our bags are made from vegetable tanned leather. It is durable and long lasting material but inevitably its lifetime and looks largely depend on regular and proper care.

With normal use, simple routines are usually enough. We recommend bringing your bag to our studio for professional aftercare after 10–12 months of use.

Everyday care:

Do not overfill your bag.
Leather has a "memory", and carrying too many items can permanently alter its shape. Overpacking may also strain and damage functional details.

Avoid long periods of direct & intense sunlight.
Sunlight can affect the color: lighter tones may darken, and bright colors can become duller over time.

Keep leather away from high heat.
Natural leather is sensitive to temperature and may lose its shape. Do not use hot water for cleaning. If your bag gets wet, let it air dry at room temperature and avoid radiators or heaters.

Be careful with hand sanitizer.
Alcohol can damage leather and leave permanent marks. We recommend keeping sanitizer separately, for example in a pocket or a small sealed pouch.

A little care goes a long way and helps your bag stay with you for years. You can easily do the aftercare at home and you can find the guide here.
Your needs may change over time, and that’s why you can always return your used Stella Soomlais product to us.

We will freshen it up and prepare it for rental or second-hand use, giving it a new life with a new owner. When you return your product, you’ll receive studio shop credit, based on the condition of the item.
