Pesakond is one of Estonia’s most legendary and long-running comic series. The rabbit, wolf, hedgehog, bear, and viper first appeared in the newspaper Post in 1994, when their creator Madis Ots — now a partner and creative director at the agency Salama — was just 16 years old.
Now, after thousands of comic strips across various media publications, hundreds of paintings on canvas, three anniversary exhibitions, and even a craft beer, Pesakond has landed on Stella Soomlais products — hand-drawn directly onto bright white vegetable-tanned leather.
