The Stella Soomlais studio in Telliskivi opens its doors to present a new collaboration with artist Anu Samarüütel.
In this collection Anu's hand meets the leather work made in Stella's studio: bags, cuffs and coasters, made in very small numbers. Every piece is one of a kind – there will be no other exactly like it.
Anu Samarüütel is an artist and fashion designer who studied at Central Saint Martins in London. Her work is marked by simple forms, symbols and motifs from Estonia's wild nature. Stella Soomlais is a leather designer who works on circular design principles, making bags and accessories built to last – to be cared for, repaired and carried on in time; she also heads the accessory design programme at the Estonian Academy of Arts.
